A £25 or $40 or €37.50 excess is deducted from each claim you
submit for out-patient, dental treatment and the Well-being benefit during
each period of cover. A claim is defined as a course of treatment for
a specific illness, injury or dental condition.
Nil excess option
A nil excess option is available to companies. Please contact our sales
advisors for further information.
Increasing the excess
You can choose to increase the excess and this will result in a reduction
of your premium of up to 45% depending upon the excess you select.

If you choose an increased excess, the excess will not just apply against
out-patient and dental claims, it will apply against the total cost of each
claim. When treatment for a claim runs into a new period of cover, the excess
will be applied again.
